Remaking the movie of your life: the divine editor

Edit: To revise and make ready for publication. to make additions, deletions, or other changes . To modify or adapt so as to make suitable or acceptable. When we look at where we are at in our lives and the scenes that have led up to where we are; then we have to ask ourselves are we satisfied with "movie" of our life. We may have scenes and characters that we would like to remove. Some movies seem as though they end prematurely at times. We as humans never know when our life is going to end. If the movie of your life was to end today would you be proud of the movie up to this point? Every movie is not an award-winning movie, but that does not mean that the movie is not a quality movie. Do not let the past scenes, characters, and directors in your life determine the outcome of your movie called life. There are times during a movie production that people are let go because they are not measuring up to the quality/standard that is needed to produce the movie. Are you satisfied with a low quality movie? There is a divine editor called God that is not restricted by time and is able to take over any production and put his touch of excellence on it. He is able to put a different cast of characters around you to help you maximize your role in the movie of your life. The question is "will you allow a new director to take over the production of your movie called life? " There is a divine editor called God that is ready to change the outcome of your movie if you will only allow Him access.

Fractured paradigm leading you into a fractured destiny

Paradigm: A set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices that constitutes a way of viewing reality for the community that shares them. When we are honest with ourselves we can begin to analyze our shortcomings in life and begin to target solutions. It may take a person being diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver before they accept the fact that they are struggling with alcohol. It may take a person having a heart attack before they realize that they are struggling with stress and/or eating habits. What is your breaking-point/limit before you realize that you are struggling in an area of your life because of your fractured (flawed) paradigm. A man's paradigm of how he views women can lead to numerous unproductive relationships that result in divorce, wasted time, wasted money, and loss of opportunities. A woman's paradigm of her self-esteem can lead to her degrading herself which in turn can lead to an undesirable living situation. It is not logical to believe that a fractured paradigm will lead to a complete/holistic destiny. When something is fractured then it is not at its full quality. Many people lower the standard (expectation) of their destiny instead of addressing the issue of their fractured paradigm (mindset) . This may be the best way for them to cope with their flawed mindset. Every creation has a creator which knows the reason/purpose behind why they created something. The sooner that we realize that God is the ultimate creator is the sooner that we can begin to seek Him for the healing of our ruptured paradigm. Mechanics fix cars, plumbers fix pipes, doctor's give prescriptions, and God repairs paradigms. I just want to encourage you today to begin seeking the solution to reshifting your paradigm.

When Lust Leads To A Dead End: which way do you turn?

Lust: To have an intense or obsessive desire, especially one that is sexual. Intense eagerness or enthusiasm. There are so many things in life in which we can overindulge in. Many times we may overindulge in behaviors because we feel inadequate/unfulfilled in a certain area in our lives. Just as a fungus spreads is the same way that lust can spread depending on where you are being affected (mind ,emotions, choices). When lust enters your mind it can manifest itself anywhere in your life. Lust is not a remedy but rather a disease. There will come a point in your life when you realize that the things (relationships, careers, finances, material things) that are at the source of your lust are no longer fulfilling you. Trying to fulfill lust can be likened a hole in the bottom of a cup; no matter how much fluid you pour into that cup it is still going to be empty in the end i.e. time, energy(emotions), money. Unbridled lust can never be satisfied so it continues to grow exponentially. Something that can not be conquered by you will ultimately destroy you. When you come to the realization of this "dead-end" in your life , just remember that there is a "pure" source of life which never ends. Just look at the condition of your life and determine whether you consider that to be true life. Jesus stated that he is "the way the truth and the life." When you've poured so many resources into something and it becomes likened to the proverbial cup with a hole in it that can never be filled, then you must reconsider your ways and seek a more pure way in life. I just want to encourage you today seek after the true way of life.

Deteriorating Disease: in need of a spiritual transplant

Disease: Illness or sickness often characterized by typical patient problems (symptoms) and physical findings (signs). People die everyday from things that could have been prevented or delayed. It seems logical that if someone knows that they are dying from something, for them to change their lifestyle and/or pattern of choices. Some people would rather die not knowing the cause of their condition because they feel that being ignorant is the best way for them to deal (cope) with their reality. "Ignorance" and "denial" have never cured any disease. The sooner that we can identify an illness is the sooner that it can be addressed. There is a spiritual disease called sin which manifests itself in various ways. It can manifest itself in someone's mind and cause them to molest, rape, murder, steal, or lie. A symptom of Aids is weight loss, a symptom of herpes is warts, and a major symptom of sin is disobedience to the will of God which places you in a spiritual state of death. Every disease has an inspiration (cause) behind it. There are also atmosphere's in which diseases can thrive. Some people know the cure to their disease. Do you know the cure to yours? The Bible states in John 3:3-7 a specific way to address this disease called "sin". If your spirit has not been transplanted (transposed, uprooted) with the Spirit of Jesus then you have a deteriorating disease and are in need of a spiritual transplant. Some patients are given specific prescriptions and may never follow the prescription, and we know that all diseases have consequences. Are you willing to be cured?
